This is a guided hike through historic terrain, right outside of Voss. Back in 1177, King Sverre and his army were forced to retreat after suffering a defeat. Their desparate escape across the steep hills of Raundalen gave name to the path now known as Sverrestigen.
Climbing on a sun-heated rock is just so nice! In Staup, just outside Voss, is a great climbing wall on natural rock, with many routes for all levels. Wild Voss provides quality equipment and a guide who will teach you how to climb and how to rappel down the cliff!
The Kiellandbu hike is a true gem. Easily accessible, no crowds, authentic mountain scenery and an immensely beautiful view. The path follows lovely rivers past mountain farms, with colourful mountain flowers accompanying us along the way. Suitable for families.
